This course is designed to provide beginners with a comprehensive understanding of IT networking, server, and workstation hardware. Over the course my lectures, students will learn the fundamentals of computer hardware components and their roles in IT networking systems.
The course will cover computer hardware, including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, storage devices, and peripherals. You will also be introduced to server hardware, including the different types of servers, their functions, and their roles in networking systems.
You will then move on to workstation hardware, learning about different types of workstations, such as desktops and laptops, and their specifications. They will learn about hardware components such as graphics cards, storage devices, and input/output devices.
As the course progresses, students will learn about IT networking concepts and components such as LAN, WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Students will learn how to configure and maintain these networking components .
The course will also cover the basics of virtualization technology and how it is used in IT networking systems. Students will learn how to use virtualization software to set up virtual machines and networks.
By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of IT networking, server, and workstation hardware fundamentals. They will be well-equipped to pursue further education in IT networking or to apply their knowledge in entry-level IT positions.
